Tover Uniqua / Self Linking High Traffic Floor Lacquer  – How to use

You need to start with surface preparation. This water based floor lacquer is 100% clear so any imperfections on your wood base will be fully visible under the lacquer. You can use the amazing Tover Uniqua / Self Linking High Traffic Floor Lacquer  as an overcoat over pre-existing finishes (assuming that the pre-existing surface is clean & in good shape) or it can be used as the main sealer. Sand the wood surface with rough to fine sandpaper to remove all scratches, patches & older finishes. Vacuum the surface well a number of times to get rid of even the finest grain of dust. At this stage you need to decide if you want to use a clear or a coloured primer or if you just want to seal the wood with Uniqua. Using a small varnishing brush apply a thick coat of lacquer around the edges & around all narrow areas. Using a quality varnishing roller start applying lacquer all over the larger surface always going along the fibre of the wood. Apply enough lacquer until the wood is filled and stops absorbing it. Allow 2 hours to dry, re-sand the whole floor with very fine sandpaper, usually 120 grit to 180 grit, vacuum the floor well & apply the last coat. If the surface was sanded well and if the lacquer was applied well, two coats is more than enough to have your floors fully protected, smooth and natural looking.

To achieve a beautiful finish on wooden floors you need to use proper sealers and top quality sanding equipment. Try the new Tover Uniqua / Self Linking High Traffic Floor Lacquer today.
