Tover Uniqua Antislip / Anti Slip Water Based Floor Lacquer – Where to use

The product can be used on all pre-sealed or unsealed wooden floors. You can apply it over a water based or solvent based wood primer x 2 coats or it can be used as an overcoat floor lacquer over pre-existing finishes to increase the wood floors anti-slip qualities. Some companies use it on handrails to provide better grip on the wood while going down the stairs. This product is suitable for commercial, industrial and residential wooden floors. Tover Uniqua Antislip / Anti Slip Water Based Floor Lacquer – How to use

If you are applying this product over a pre-existing finish, you will need to make sure that the surface is 100% grease free, dry and very lightly sanded to create a bit of abrasion. Then apply 2 coats of Tover Uniqua Antislip / Anti Slip Water Based Floor Lacquer with 2 hours break between the coats. If you are sealing a new or newly sanded wood floor, you will need to prime the floor and prepare the surface for lacquering. Using a small varnishing brush apply one thick coat of floor lacquer all over the skirting board areas and all areas where the varnishing roller is unlikely to fit. Then start lacquering the larger floor areas with a quality varnishing roller. Apply enough lacquer to have a wet look but without creating puddles. Do not walk on the surface while the lacquer is drying.
