Tover Uniqua Antibacterial Floor Lacquer – Where to use

The new Tover Uniqua Antibacterial Floor Lacquer is highly popular with the commercial, industrial and residential floor refinishing companies. The product provides outstanding durability and a beautiful natural look. It can be used to seal and protect school floors, pub floors, pharmacy floors, hospital floors, shops, domestic floors, childminding businesses, etc. The new Tover Uniqua Antibacterial Floor Lacquer is suitable for indoor use only. Unaffected by UV light, it will not yellow, superb scratch resistance, great resistance to cleaning products and traffic. A bit more expensive than other water based floor lacquers but this product is in its own class.

Tover Uniqua Antibacterial Floor Lacquer – How to use

Sand the surface well to remove all types of old sealers, grease, scratches and imperfections. You want the final sand to look as perfect as possible. Vacuum the floor a number of times until you are 100% satisfied that there is no more dust residue on the floor. Apply 1 thick coat of wood floor primer and allow about 2 hours to dry. Two hours later, re-sand the whole surface one more time with 120 to 180 grit sandpaper to remove all streaks and markings left by the primer. One more good vacuuming and now you are ready for the final coats. Using a small varnishing brush apply one thin coat of lacquer around the edges. Use a large varnishing roller for the larger surfaces. Going along the fibre of the wood apply 1 thick coat of lacquer. It should be fully dry within 2 hours. Do the final coat the same as the first coat and be sure not to walk on the surface while drying. The floor will look spectacular and it should feel silky and rich.
