On any surface that is ready for lacquering. Remember, a wood floor primer has 0 protective qualities. The job of the primer is to seal and prepare the wood surface for the final coatings. The new Tover Idrofondo H20 / Single Pack Water based Floor Primer is compatible with all types of unsealed wooden surfaces. This product is suitable for indoor use only. A non yellowing water based wood floor primer that helps you reduce costs while increasing productivity. Safe to use on all wood floors, wood furniture, frames, handles, doors, etc. You do not need to be an expert to be able to use this product and there are very few wrong ways to apply this professional wood floor primer.

Tover Idrofondo H20 / Single Pack Water based Floor Primer – How to use

Remove all pre-existing finishes from the wood surface. Have a visual assessment and if you are happy with the way the wood looks, prepare for sealing. Using a soft varnishing brush prime all narrow spaces and all areas where the varnishing roller cannot fit. Apply a thick coat of wood floor primer and keep rolling the product until the wood surface looks semi wet and there are no puddles of wood floor primer on it. Ventilate the area well and within 2 hours you should be ready for lacquering the surface. You can use a water based floor lacquer or a solvent based wood floor lacquer for the final coat.  No need to use more than one coat of wood floor primer. Sand the primer after it is fully dry to remove any imperfections or patches.

It is essential to make sure that you have enough product to complete the whole project. Do not dilute the product and do not mix the product with any other types/brands of wood floor primers. Wash all your tools with warm water. Do not walk on the wood surface while it is drying. Use the product correctly and you will achieve a beautiful, smooth finish on your wooden floor.
