Tover Tovcol MS Wood Adhesive | How To Use It

All kinds of wood adhesives from all brands and manufactures will require pretty much the same surface preparation. For the glue to be able to attach to the base surface, the base surface has to be spotless, dry, dust free and also the wood floor has to be dry. Only if all those requirements are met, the wood adhesive can be used. Otherwise it will only last for a limited period of time. The same surface preparation is also required for the new Tover Tovcol MS Wood Adhesive. Very rough surfaces should be sealed with a primer or leveled up with a screed to create a smoother base surface.

1. Mix up the new Tover Tovcol MS Wood Adhesive to create a clear oak colour.

2. Spread the new Tover Tovcol MS Wood Adhesive with a notched trowel in an even coat.

3. Install the wood over the adhesive making sure that over 65% of the wood is in direct contact with the glue.

4. Do not walk on the surface for 10 hours after the installation and do not refinish the wood for 2-3 days.

5. Make sure to remove all the excess glue from the prefinished wood surface to avoid further issues.
