Chimiver Self Expanding Adhesive | Where To Use It

An excellent quality single component expandable wood adhesive that is suitable for filling up hollow gaps and repairing all kinds of wooden floors that are moving or are loose. The product is compatible with all kinds of base surfaces including plywood, concrete floors, screed, pre-existing floors and wall panels. While inside the bottle, the composition is semi liquid but in contact with oxygen the product transforms into a thick expanding foam that will fill up the cavities under your floorboards. What makes this product great is the fact that unlike other similar products, it fully dries in maximum 2 hours and the area can be returned to normal use in shorter periods.

Chimiver Self Expanding Adhesive | How To Use It

If you are dealing with hollow gaps and if you are looking for a way to fill up the gaps and get rid of all those annoying sounds, then the new Chimiver Self Expanding Adhesive is the perfect product for you.

Hollow Gap Filler | A drill that is fitted with a 3-4 mm drill bit is needed. Also, a syringe is needed as well.

1. The top of the bottle has to be cut off to expose the channel that releases the glue.

2. Drill 1 hole with the drill making sure to penetrate the wood in full and reach the base.

3. Using the syringe, inject 1-3 mm of clean water into the hole that was drilled.

4. Now insert the bottle long head into the hole and add 1-3 ML of glue as deep as you can.

5. Within a few minutes the product will start expanding and it will be fully dry within 2 hours.

Wood Floor Glue | Lift up the moving parquet piece and vacuum nicely under it. Spray a mist of clean water on the bottom part of the wood piece and then add a few spots of the new Chimiver Self Expanding Adhesive in all the corners and in the centre part of the wood. Attach the wood back to the ground and wait for it to dry. Within a few minutes the glue will start expanding, filling all joints and drying up. Within two hours the piece of wood will be firmly attached so it will no longer move.

Chimiver Self Expanding Adhesive | Recommendation

The foaming and the expansion of the new Chimiver Self Expanding Adhesive is water activated so make sure to pre-spray the surface with clean water before injecting or spreading the glue. Do not add more than 1-3 ML per hole to avoid over-expansion. Do not walk in the area while it is drying. Do not mix up the product with any adhesives or other glues. Store the product away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
