If your wooden floor or your wooden furniture was sealed with a hardwax oil or a floor oil, then you can really enjoy the benefits provided by the new Chimiver Lios Soft Balm | Oiled Floor Cleaner & Maintainer. Used with a lower dilution rate it is a refresher or a restorer, used with a higher dilution rate, it becomes a cleaner. The point of the product is to remove all kinds of dirt residue and to repair small issues on the protective coat. The new Chimiver Lios Soft Balm | Oiled Floor Cleaner & Maintainer is an indoor cleaner and maintainer. It does not matter what brand of oil or hardwax oil was used to seal the surface.

Chimiver Lios Soft Balm | Oiled Floor Cleaner & Maintainer | How To Use It

The product requires dilution before use. The dilution rate can vary from floor to floor and surface to surface. If the floor only requires a quick wash, then the maximum dilution rate should be used. If the point of the clean is to clean and restore the lost sheen or gloss, then a lower dilution rate should be used.

Cleaning : 1 part product and 20 parts water (for light maintenance)

Refreshing : 1 part product and 5 parts water (for proper recoating)

***This is not a product for daily use. It should be used once or twice per month to restore the protection on oiled or waxed wooden floors. If the oiled floors is a high traffic area, then refreshments can be done more often***

1. Prepare the surface. Vacuum the floor and remove any loose debris

2. If the floor is very dirty, use Lios Kronos to deep clean & degrease

3. Dilute the product in a spray bottle or a mopping bucket

4. Using a flat mop or semi wet normal mop wash the floor

5. Make sure that the whole surface is wet but not soaked

6. Do not walk on the surface for 1 hour

Remember, this product’s main job is to restore and refresh a pre-existing oil or hardwax. Low traffic residential floors do not require more than one refresh per month. High traffic commercial floor areas can be done once per week. Do not apply the refresher over dirt. Do not mix up the product with any other refreshers. Store the product in a safe and dry place away from direct sunlight.
