Chimiver Lios Natural Wax | Where To Use It

The new Chimiver Lios Natural Wax is a multi use product that is highly compatible with all kinds of unfinished hardwood, engineered wood, semi solid wood floors and terracotta surfaces. The product can be used to seal all those surfaces listed above or it can be used for regular maintenance of those surfaces. Use the new Chimiver Lios Natural Wax to waterproof, stain proof and enhance the look of wooden floors and wooden walls, terracotta floors, terracotta worktops and terracotta walls. The new Chimiver Lios Natural Wax will start providing results within a few minutes after the initial application and the results can last for many years. Chimiver Lios Natural Wax | How To Use It

The application system depends on the type of surface, the condition of it and the desired finish. If you are likely to use the new Chimiver Lions Natural Wax to refresh an already waxed wooden surface, then make sure to deep clean the surface to remove all residual dirt and body fats before applying a coat of the new Chimiver Lios Natural Wax. If you are sealing terracotta  floors or walls, new or old, the surface has to be deep cleaned nicely and then a few coats of the new Chimiver Lios Natural Wax should be applied with about 15 minutes break between the coats. If you are planning to use the new Chimiver Lios Natural Wax to seal and waterproof new wooden floors, then please use the following steps:

1. Sand the surface up to 120 to 150 final grit sanding to end up with a smooth surface.

2. Apply a thin coat of the new Chimiver Lios Natural Wax making sure to touch all areas.

3. Remove all excess with a clean cloth and allow it to dry for about 15-30 minutes.

4. Apply a second coat the same way as the first coat making sure to remove all excess.

5. 15 to 30 minutes later buff it nicely with a clean microfiber cloth or a white pad that stays in the top of a clean cloth to remove all excess wax and make sure that there are no streaks.

6. A third coat is possible but in the cases of hardwood not needed. If you are sealing soft types of woods, please apply the 3rd coat as well. Do not use the surface for 12-24 hours depending on ventilation and temperature.

7. Refresh the newly waxed surface at least once per year to make sure that the surface stays waterproofed.

Do not use the new Chimiver Lios Natural Wax on any lacquered wood surfaces or on man made tiles. Do not dilute the product and do not forget to remove all excess wax from the surface. Do not use the new Chimiver Lios Natural Wax for outdoor projects. Store the product away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
