Carver Traditional Floor Oil Greenol HD – Where to use 

Due to the regular maintenance required, some people avoid oiled floors and floor oils. But for some other people, an oiled floor is the only way to go. Our high performance floor oil, the amazing Carver Traditional Floor Oil Greenol HD is a top of the range sealer from the Carver range. It can be used for sealing all types of commercial and domestic floors, furniture, frames, doors, panels, wooden handles & other wood surfaces. It is essential that the wood is sealant free, clean and dry. Two coats of the Carver Traditional Floor Oil Greenol HD will provide full protection for a number of years, assuming that you are cleaning your floors with proper wood floor cleaners and you refresh your oiled floors at least once per year. Suitable for indoor use only. It will cover around 30 sq meters of floor per 1L.

Carver Traditional Floor Oil Greenol HD – How to use

You are oiling your wooden floors or your wood furniture because you like the way it looks natural and the way it feels. So the first step is to make sure that the wood is sealant free, spotless and dry. Make sure that the surface is sanded to perfection, otherwise all markings and scratches will be visible under the sealer. Using a cloth or a small brush, apply the oil around all narrow areas. Rub it well until the oil has penetrated the wood fully. On larger areas use a large cloth or a flat mop with an oiling pad. The surface has to look wet but not soaked. If some oil is puddling up on the floor, remove it. You want the wood surface fully impregnated but not over soaked. The surface has to dry for about 24 hours. 24 hours later apply one more coat of floor oil. Your job is completed and your floors should look amazing. Carver Traditional Floor Oil Greenol HD can also be applied with a floor buffer when sealing large floor areas.

***all oiled and waxed floors require regular refreshing. You will need to apply a maintenance oil once every 6 months. Carver Carsol is the ideal product. All oiled & waxed wooden floors require regular cleaning and maintenance with proper oiled floor cleaners and as little water as possible. Never use degreasers, alkaline cleaning products or steamers on oiled floors. Do not scrub the oiled floor with aggressive scourers***
