Bona Wood Floor Polish Gloss – Where to use

Easy to apply and easy to maintain high traffic waterborne floor polish from Bona. It can be used to restore gloss and repair dull patches on wooden floors that are subject to high traffic or a lot of regular cleaning. It can be applied in a 1 or 2 coats system with a flat mopping system going along the fibre of the wood. Only recommended for lacquered, varnished or polished wood floors. Not suitable for sealing oiled or waxed wooden floors. It contains wax. No special training is required to use this product.

Bona Wood Floor Polish Gloss – How to use

To be used on any wooden floor that was sealed or polished with a lacquer or a varnish. It can be applied over water based and solvent based finishes. Use a flat mopping system, a short hair microfiber flat mop (Bona Cleaning Pad). Pour some floor polish onto the floor, soak the microfiber pad in it until the pad has absorbed it all & start applying the sealer going along the fibre of the wood. Do not over soak the surface. The floor has to look wet but not puddle up. Allow about 2 hours to dry and then you can do a second coat if required. The floor will dry with a nice glossy finish.

Bona Wood Floor Polish Gloss – Recommendations

Pre-test required to ensure compatibility between the floor and the floor polish. Do a small test area before polishing a large floor. It will only work if the wooden floor is still in good shape and if its coat of sealant is still intact but just dull. Do not dilute the polish and do not walk on the surface for at least 2 hours. Do not polish the floor if the room is very cold. Store the product in a cool, dry, safe place away from children and direct sunlight.
